Hi there. I have been having this problem for the past day or so. Every now and then, the screen on my MBP goes black for about a second or two, then comes back to normal. This has never happened in the past so this is really odd to me.

Strange things have been happening to my MBP lately. My battery life only surpasses a little over an hour now as well and my battery is perfectly healthy based on the tests I've run. Can anyone help me with these issues?

Have you calibrated the battery? Also, what year/model do you have?

Yes, I've calibrated the battery already, and I have the 15-inch Mid-2010 model.
2.66GHz, Core i7.

IDK about battery but have you checked the energy saver preferences in system preferences,(see screenshot) maybe your display is set too sleep to early for your taste

Yup, I've adjusted all of this when I first got it back in 2010. I just don't understand why it is coming up so soon when I didn't change any of the settings. It's still set to come on after 15 minutes, and it's coming on a lot sooner.
