I have a Macbook Pro. When I'm using it on battery power the screen will go blank maybe three times in the course of the battery life. The only fix seems to be to close the lid and wait a few seconds and then open it and push a key to wake it up. Then it's back to normal. Any ideas?

i've had similar problems with my macbook too... not only does it go completely blank, but when used after a day or so, it flickers a lot too!

That sounds a bit like what happens when you unplug a projector from a mac laptop. the screen will go blank for a few seconds, but you don't have to put it to sleep and then reawaken it.

You might want to send it back or take it into an apple store if your near one.
