Hi

Can anyone recommend a program that can capture screen shots from movie files?

I have clips of movies ( not more than 10 mins long) i made that i would like screen captures that i can grab and print in High Rez.

Are there any programs that let you set like say.....the interval the program will capture the screen shots?? For example...for a 3 min clip i can set the program to grab screen shots every 10 seconds..

Any help is much appreciated. THANKS:)

mpeg streamclip allows you to export to an image sequence. you decide the number of frames you want per second.

It just exports the pictures. it dosent create these large size pictures of thumbnails with the minute and seconds indicator that are often used for previews for movies

Although it doesn't allow for a frame (or short sequence) every x seconds--and I don't know of an app offhand that does--I am very fond of SnapzProX by Ambrosia (www.ambrosiasw.com). It gives pretty rich screen capture capability, and a fair amount of control over the result. Then again, I like pretty much everything those folks do (they've been a Mac house for a looong time!).
