I have a Santa Rosa (2007) White 13" Macbook. My cousin accidentally moved a piece of furniture and knocked my laptop off onto the tile floor which it sat about 2 or 3 ft above the floor. When I turned my laptop on the screen seemed to be broken or the cable inside could be loose. The screen had all these colored lines that where vertical. When hooking it up to an external display and i navigate my desktop or any other window. I can see the colored lines change and move like its trying to display but cannot fully. (Example) I hover over my dock and the dock pops out because I have it hidden. On the broken screen i see a shape and change where the dock would be located on the screen. Could this just be the video cable being loose? popped out of place on impact on the floor? I will provide a screen shot of what my screen looks like. Any help would be wonderful before I decide to buy a new screen or send to apple.
