I took my 2018 MBP into the apple store yesterday as the 'a' and 's' keys were wearing off. They replaced them without a fuss, while I waited - total of 15 minutes wait. So far, so great... And they did the usual lovely spring clean around the rest of the keys and the screen. MBP looks good as new, literally.
I noticed this morning though that there's a fairly large faint dark shadow about 2in high across the screen which I'm 90% certain wasn't there before. I think it might be slowly fading - not sure - but wondering if it might be possible that Apple have either quietly recoated the screen, or even replaced it as part of a response to the stagelight problem; or done something else (damaged it?) that has temporarily caused the screen to lose its uniformity?
Anyone heard about this or got any ideas?
