So, I'm trying to work out whether or not this is a hardware issue or whether it's something that has only happened since the latest iOS 16 update (20A362).

I've noticed in the past few days that, after using my iPhone 11 for a while (generally about 20-30 minutes), it starts registering screen taps in the wrong place. For example, I can be pressing the "2" key and it actually registers both a "2" and "3", or pressing "/" and it registers a "-". Occasionally when I'm tapping on the top left or top right of the screen, it doesn't register at all.

It's generally only solved by doing a restart of the phone, and, strangely, after one of those restarts, it always prompts me for my iCloud password.

I've tried doing a complete restore of the phone, both untethered and tethered, and no joy.

Any ideas on anything else I could try?

Hi!
Check this out: https://support.apple.com/iphone-11-display-module-replacement-program

Weirdly, I installed SwiftKey and it's early days yet, but it looks as if things have improved somewhat. I'll give it another day or so before coming to a definite conclusion on it.
