I have a MacBook that is out of warranties and has a pink line from top to bottom of the screen. I was thinking of buying a new screen from iFixit... anyone have any other advice?

Before you invest in a new screen, make sure there's something wrong with the current one. A pink line (assuming a vertical line?) from top to bottom could be a crack in the LCD, or something else.
