I just updated my old MBP Pr 2.4 to 10.6.3
I'm having an bad issue with the hibernate and shut down process.
Every time I close the screen for it to hibernate, it stays on. I'll bring the lid up and it only shows the black screen. Same thing with shutting it down. I'll try to turn it off, but it'll stay on with the black screen. For both issues I have to hold the main power button down to shut it off complete. It's more like freezing. I ran all the permissions and HDD safety checks and it says all is running OK. I looked on MRoogle, and searched the apple support forums and can't come up with a solid fix. I also rebooted with the Utility Disk and it worked fine with 10.6.2. I updated again, and it started the black freeze again.
Has anyone else had this issue?
