Hi everyone 👋 I'm newbie here please to meet you all . I have iPhone XR and lost screen password and locked me out I'm stuck on 8 hours any help would be very greatful thank you

You need to erase and reset your iPhone

If you see an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support

If you forgot your device passcode, you can use your Apple Account and password to erase and reset your device without a computer.

Thank you for your reply I haven't got option to erase with or without computer

You will have to erase the phone. Per @Bigwaff's link:

1. From your device's Lock Screen, try to enter your passcode until the "[Device] Unavailable" screen appears.
2. When you're able to, tap Forgot Passcode?

You're one password attempt away from erasing, so once the eight hours is up, try one more time and you will get the the "Unavailable" screen.

You will need to know the Apple ID password to complete the erase.

And note:

On your iPhone or iPad, the Forgot Passcode? option appears when you have a device that uses iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later and you are connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network. An Erase [Device] option appears if you have a device that uses iOS 15.2, iPadOS 15.2, iOS 16, or iPadOS 16 and you are connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network.
