ok so it appears we have a033/a034 for 13"

a030/a031 for 15"

if theres others, please post and describe which one ya got... from my other thread, seems each size has 2 manufacturers. we dont know which is which but if I had to guess probably Samsung/LG or some'n. maybe Sharp and LG.

ALSO 2016's only:

system preferences->displays->color tab->open profile under color lcd default profile-> line 17 (last line)

I'm curious of the spread, hopefully the sample size becomes big enough to make some conclusions about distribution :D that'd be fun

I had a nTB A033 returned and got a TB which has a A034

shoulda added ability to vote for multiple options, but I guess it's ok dont want people arbitrarily choosing multiple options

vote for the one you have in your posession moving forward,

im also assuming a lot of people dont swap knowing one screen model for another, unless screen specifically is problematic and the reason they swapped

but dang, I see your point too haha

would also be skewed for someone who got a swap and had both models, but only ability to vote once vs. twice for separate models, so it has its ups and downs

A030 on 15" tMBP. It's perfect.

What do the numbers mean?
Since we can no longer extrapolate the manufacturer data, nobody really knows. Just another internet concern post where people irrationally doubt their results, thinking something better is out there ("display lottery" and all that)

A030.. But also check when you shake the laptop from left to right and vice versa if it rattles.
Mine A030 rattles like this:

My 15" TB is A031 - 00000610 ( samsung )

How did you determine that it is a Samsung screen? I have the same display and am just curious. The screen on my 2012 rMBP was a Samsung and had a great screen - a little more even than my 15" 2016 (that I am happy with in spite of slight unevenness).
