When i try and use a stylus using preinstalled notes the screen moves.
Can't write anything using a stylus. Am i missing a lock button somewhere?
Thanks

Double click on the Home Button, then swipe from left to right to get this panel.

I checked the above but screen shot looks like an ipod connected so don't see that button arrow pointing to.
Did as you said from left to right but nothing happens.

The built in notes app is not designed for "writing" on the screen with a stylus. The only way to take notes using this app is to type them with the on-screen keyboard. The lock icon that saving107 is referring to is to lock the screen from rotating between portrait and landscape.

If you want to be able to take hand-written notes and sketches, you will need an app from the app store. Something like "Notes Plus" http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/notes-plus-handwriting-note/id374211477

All is good i purchase the app. Thought something was wrong with my screen.
Have a lot to learn.

Thank you so much.
