I was just wondering, what kind of connection does the iMac use to connect with the screen? Say in 3 years, I *decided* to take the screen off and maybe hang it on a wall, but have it hooked up to the computer. Is this possible?

I'm not so sure about that...perhaps you might...
 
I'm not sure you can, but some daredevil, tibook cooking might give it again, I certainly wouldn't touch the thing

I haven't seen anyone take apart the neck on the iMac G4, so there is no clue what type of cabling is in there.

I suspect someone will take one apart and post photos on the web when their machine dies out of warranty.
 
ill find out for you guys. ill ask someone back in service to look at the service tech pdf's and tell me how it connecs.
