Does anyone know of a way to make the screen stay on when you are reviewing a notification? If I do something on my watch the screen stays on for the 15 seconds or whatever it is set for, no problem. However, this does not apply to getting a notification. When I get a notification and turn my wrist to read my notification, 90% of the time my screen goes black again before I've even finished reading it. It's a minor inconvenience but, also not so minor considering that is literally what the watch is for.
So, is there any way around this? I can't be the only one annoyed by this glaringly obvious flaw.

Yes, annoying.

I believe the screen stays on longer if you tap it -- try touching the screen as you read the notification. No idea if this will work, just something that comes to mind. I'll try it myself next time I get a notification on my watch.

It does prolong the time, or at least resets the few seconds it normally would come on without tapping it. Enevitably when it goes black I have to tap it anyway. It just seems silly to have to do that for every single notification so you can actually read it.

Thanks for the response!

While some notifications “disappear” after a few seconds I find that others stay on just way too long.
What watch model do you have? Since you’re saying “goes black” is it a model w/out AOD or do you have AOD disabled?
