Screen Problem

Hi,
As you can see in the image below, there is this bright squiggly object in the bottom right corner of my iMac's screen. The computer is just under 4 years old. It is much more visible in person, and the artifact, or whatever it is, has depth to it, indicating to me that it is inside the screen or at least behind the glass. I have just started noticing this now.

Any ideas?
