Hi Everyone,

When I open windows, move them around, type or click on items on the screen, green/blue/pink boxes appear in different areas of the screen. Also some graphics on webpages have horizontal lines that run through them. Please see the attached screen shot to view the issues that have been occurring. I know that it is not the laptop screen that specifically has the issue because when I use my thunderbolt display the boxes still appear. Please let me know if you have an idea of what is causing this to happen and what the cost would be to fix it as my laptop is out of warranty.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Justin

seems to be a software glitch, have you installed all updates available?
Check and see if there are and if it improves/reinstall the os.

i doubt any hardware issue will show on a screen shot.
But just to trouble shoot software first since it costs nothing or cheaper. And not to mention your out of warranty any gpu issue needs a new logic board and they are costly almost the cost of a new macbook.
