Hi everyone,

I'm wondering wether you need to use some sort of screen protection (or sheet like "The Slip" from Crumpler). They are ment to keep the keyboard from touching the screen, while you carry your MBP.

Is it really necessary, or do you just carry your MBP around without such a "protective" sheet?

Thanks in advance!

i don't use one, and have never had any mark on my screen by not doing so. by the way i have the late 2008, 15 inch model. you should not worry about it unless you leave some sort of silicone keyboard cover and decide to leave it there when closed. it might leave a mark if its thick enough. my old keyboard cover left a mark if i left it there while the one i'm using now, the moshi one doesn't. hope i was able to help

thanks! yes you were!

this is really assuring. I didn't like the idea of having to put in "the slip" every time i'm caring the mbp
