Screen Protector needed for Gorilla Glass 2?

I don't have one on my current phone..have 1 or 2 minor scratches..is gorilla glass 2 any more scratch resistant than the previous iteration?

if not, what screen protectors for the front screen do you recommend that can be bought at an apple store, carrier store, or mall?

I will go without a screen protector. Been using my iPhone 4 since launch day with no protector and it has zero scratches on it - front or back. I carry it in my front pocket, occasionally with keys and coins.

I think you're fine without one, as long as you don't drop it face down.

i think im going with desmay case which has zero front protection...considering my first go with a screen protector. any brands clearer or better that can be bought in stores?

From what I've read, it's not. The benefit of Gorilla Glass 2 is that it's thinner than Gorilla Glass 1 but has the same resistance.

There is a type of new Gorilla Glass that is as thick as Gorilla Glass 1 but much more resistant.
