So I got my IPhone 12 Pro a little over two weeks ago and while I love my phone (especially the much improved cameras coming from the X) I too am having issues with eye strain from the PWM OLED display.

I unfortunately had a liquid screen protector installed on my phone at my local Verizon store (thinking it would be tempered glass) and I instantly regretted it. It may end up doing a fine job with protection but I much prefer a screen protector that could potentially help me out with my sensitive eyes.

I then remember that I had a ZAGG Elite Vision Guard+ on my X (which was also OLED) which never caused me issues and made the screen much more tolerable. Not being a techie myself, would I be able to install a ZAGG screen protector over my liquid one or would that cause touch screen sensitivity issues? I only ask because you obviously can’t remove the liquid protector and I’m looking for any potential solution that may provide me eye relief.

Liquid screen protectors only leave a layer a few microns thick so you can put a glass one over it no problem. I have both a liquid and a glass on my SE right now in fact.
