Screen protector really needed?

I get my series 3 today and woundered if it needs a screen protector. I have a series 0 since launch and never bothered. It does have a few scratches on the glass but it’s ok for age.

The same scratches you have now on your series 0 are what you’re going to get with the new one also. Personally I put a screen protector on my new series 3 since it’s a small price to pay for some piece of mind. It’s a rhino skin and gets applied wet. No bubbles and it wraps around to the edges.

So how does it fare when wet? I feel like all these screen protectors are useless if you're going to be doing any water activity

Good question. I haven’t wet the watch yet and don’t really plan to. However I’ve read some reviews on it and simply rinsing the watch with the protector is fine, swimming may be a different story.
