Screen protector suggestions for iPhone 6 Tech21 impact check case

I'm looking for advice about which screen protector (glass/plastic and brand) to get to go with the Tech21 impact check case. I have an iphone 6. Is glass necessary for use with Tech21 cases? I like the Tech Armor ballistic glass, but I'm concerned the glass may go above the edge of the case. Anyone have pictures of this combination? Or any suggestions? I'm not looking to spend a lot, but I do want quality. Thanks!

I have this combo on my 6+. The edge of the Classic Check case is only a hair taller than the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector. I would say that if you were to put the phone face down on a smooth table, the clearance between the screen and table would be less than the thickness of a credit card.

I recently dropped my phone face down on concrete and was shocked that I couldn't find a single scratch on the screen. I probably just got lucky. I wouldn't count on that happening every time.
