Screen protector that covers front camera causes distortion?

Hey guys,

I wanted to know from you guys if glass screen protectors that doesn't have the front camera cutout cause any distortion or reduce clarity. It does make sense as the camera is going through another glass for selfies, but since it is clear glass, maybe not?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
