Anybody know what kind of screen protectors they sell and will apply onto your iPhone in the Apple store? I might let them do it for my 12 PM if they have an edge-to-edge model that has no notch cut out.

I believe Belkin is the only protector that they sell and install. It does have a cut out for the notch, from what I can see with the pictures. They may sell over protectors but, I haven’t looked closely lately.

I purchased one of their glass screens that they applied to my iPhone 12 for me, using their machine. My receipt says its a

BELKIN ULTRAGLASS SPA IPH 12/12PRO-ZML £29.95

Not trying to hijack your post but, Wow thats expensive for a screen protector! More than the MagSafe puck....just go for one on amazon with the template to help you apply the protector. I got this one for my 12 pro: ESR Shield it works for me besides the speck of dust that snuck its way on the bottom hahah

I'd already bought a £6 glass screen protector to apply myself, but decided when I was in the store to get them to put one of theirs on.

Yes, its expensive, but then so was my iPhone 12 it was going on.

LOL yes, very true.. :)

The Belkin one is not edge to edge and has a notch. Two good reasons not to get one.

I ordered a cheapie from Amazon. Works fine. I’d almost prefer edge the edge though. With a perfect application is would fit in the silicone case very well.

Does not having a notch affect the camera or sensors?

Recommended alternatives?

It’s expensive and it has no warranty. The oleophobic coating is subpar, it has horrible scratch protection for “gorilla glass 3”, and it cracks really easily. At least if you got the zagg from Best Buy (which is one of the best screen protectors) they would install it for you.

Zagg, and spigen are the best screen protectors when it comes to oleophobic coating, scratch and drop/crack resistance and they’re 1/2 the price.

Having one that covers the notch looks better but the cons is it can make your phone feel heavier than a screen protector with the notch cutout and screen protectors that cover the notch mess with True Tone (some don’t, most do).

Generally the best ones that are easily available are spigens and zags screen protectors. They’re the top in scratch/drop protection and have better oleophobic coating that wears slower.

I’ve tried a bunch of cheap ones and alway go back to Belkin. The glass is crystal clear on it and in my experience significantly higher quality to justify the price. Just my experience with them.

Not having the notch has no effect what so ever. In my experience the phones function just as well. Not having a notch makes the front look cleaner and have a better feel too. Also there’s no need to buy the expensive ones from the likes of Belkin and Zagg. Personally I think the ESR ones are the best value for money and the Torres are a close second. I would recommend you get one of those two.

Totally agree. Belkin installed by Apple is the only way to go.
