Hey all,

My fiancé and I both have the 32gig black iPhone 4s. I ordered a pack from Power Support that included front-and-back crystal and a front anti-glare HD screen protector.

Both of the front screen protectors do not have cut outs for the proximity sensor. They only have cut-outs for the home button, front-facing camera and ear receiver.

Power Support reps told me that there would be a cut-out for the proximity sensor. My question is, does it need it?? You can only see the proxmity sensor on a white iPhone 4s.

Will the lack of cut-out interfere with the phone at all??

No, you don't need an opening for the proximity sensor in a screen protector. Only colored decals for the front need the opening.

Actually you can see the proximity sensor on the black one but you have to use a strong light. On the white it is notable due to the contrast between dark brown and white.
