I have the Griffin Clarifi for my iPhone 3G and I was wondering about the following:

In case I needed to replace the screen protector that came along with the case and in the event Griffin does not sell the said screen protector separately, I would have to consider an option such as Bodyguardz or FullBodyFilms (my choice for these two is driven by a few reviews I read about them)... Now, the obvious concern is: would this screen protection fit with Clarifi case?

Has anybody tried it? etc...

Thank you for ur replies...

I would assume that any 3g screensave would be fine. I tried a ton of different ones and I ended up with the ZAGG.

I would assume u r right although I prefer being sure before getting the screen protector "just in case"...

I whole heartly agree with you. Nothing worse tan speniding hard earned dollars on something that is supposed to be compatable and ends up needing to be modified or doesn't work at all

not sure if you have an apple store near you. There is one about 40 minutes from me so I popped in there one day. I was shocked at how many iphones were coming in for accessories and going out the door after a sale.

the customers were very helpful in sharing the like and dilikes of their screen protectors. In the end I wnet onto ebay and purchase a number of different ones including he reflective.

the anti glare took away the glossy appeal of the iphone screen, the reflective one, thought it protects the screen from scratches thee is nothing to protect the film from becoming scratched, it was neat have the iphone as a mirror.

The ZAGG has a rubbery feel but after a few days that feel goes away. it is still not as smooth as the other plasticy protectors. It came with a water base spray you put on first and then align it and squeege the air bubbles out and you are done.

I could never get the plastic protectors to align on the first econd or third try.

Thx for the support bruinsrme...

Unfortunately there are no Apple stores near me... There are what they call "premium Apple resellers" though... Unfortunately, they don't always have a wide choice of accessories (at least not to my liking hehe) and I end up buying always online... Hence my reluctance...

Thx again for the info... thankfully my present screen protection (included with Clarifi) is still OK but I'm shopping around just in case...

Cheers.

ebay purchase

Are the ebay buys reliable in terms of quality ?
