Who will be purchasing a screen protector for their iPhone 7/7 Plus?

I'm upgrading to a 7 after having my 5s for almost 3 years. I've never used a screen protector but everyone I know who has the 6 has cracked their screen at one point or another... Is the 7 expected to have a more durable screen?

Thank you! I saw that post but wanted to know if it was really "necessary" since my 5s has been going strong without one for so long. That being said, my coworker came into work this morning and said he shattered his 6 for a third time, so I guess there's my answer....
