Hello,

What's your take on using screen protectors? Do they damage the actual iphone screen if you try to peel them off if you ever decide to change them or remove them?
What are the pros and cons?

I’ve used screen protectors for every phone I’ve had with no issues.

Has any one tried the ones from dollar tree or other dollar stores? some says they're great.

Also, can you put on the screen protector with the case on the phone? My case is very difficult to take off , so i was wondering if you could just install the SP with the case on.

I've always used them and never had any issues. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive but whatever I picked worked fine.

I replaced one on my 6s and it left residue behind but it didn't take much effort to clean it.

Some of the very cheap ones can be poor quality. I generally only go for tempered glass ones, and you can buy them quite cheap on Amazon with an installation frame so it lines up nicely. No need to spend $30 or $40 like some well known brands sell for, they are insanely overpriced compared to what they cost to make.

I've cracked every screen protector I've ever used. I've dropped my phones a billion times. I'm a klutz. If I didn't have a screen protector I'd be using a flip phone because I'd be too broke trying to own a smart phone. There are no cons. I've replaced many screen protectors on the same iPhone and it keeps the screen pristine.

What screen protector brand do you recommend?

Tempered Glass aren’t without their faults Without Glare and on the right angle, they shatter easily. What you’re really looking at for protection, is something is disposable and quick that can be applied. Cheap screen protectors may not be of the highest quality, but you’re using them for surface protection, not for the ‘added protection’ for a tempered brand that essentially delivers similar results.
