Screen record only records itunes music but no sound, but records youtube sound fine.

I have a question.

I used to be able to do a screen capture with music when playing itunes on my iphone 7 plus (up to date). Now when I swipe up and press screen record, the music stops once the count down ends. It can still record but obviously without sound.

However I can record, for example a youtube video, and it will record with the sound. Even during mid screen record when i switch from itunes to youtube, it works. Once i go back to itunes there is no music, but it comes back on when I stop record. Im trying to figure out what happened, since I used to be able to do it.

Any suggestions?
