Screen Recorder-type App - iOS7, iPad

I use iThoughts on both iPad and MBP to show how some of my research is going to a wider audience.

I used to use Screen Recorder on a JB iPad 2 iOS6 but have recently upgraded to iOS7 and forgot about this until I went to record a tutorial.

I have looked through the App Store and there doesn't appear to be anything that allows me to launch a recording app, switch to iThoughts and then being the tutorial.

I have Camtasia on my MBP so can do it that way if needed, but like the convenience of using the iPad.

Someone suggested Educreations, but this only allows in App recording.

Runs better than Reflector. Very speedy, only slowdown when showing photos.
Turns into a movie on the spot.
And to boot the app is on sale (at least was few days back).
