Screen Recorder

I'm planning on doing some screen recording on my MacBook. Does anyone have suggestions for an easy-to-use, possibly free screen recorder?

For some reason, it doesn't respond when I tell it to stop recording. It tells you to press F8 to stop recording, but that seems to cause a conflict.

try fn+F8.

Yeah, that worked, but I'm trying to record a game and Copernicus crashes whenever I launch the game.
