Screen Recording in Snow Leopard?

I remember reading some threads pre-SL days where people mentioned a new Screen Recording tool. But I can't find it anywhere.

I'm interested in recording my desktop (keynote, videos, audio, me) for education purposes. I'm demoing Screenflow now (love it to death) but are there any native options that I'm missing? Was this tool added to SL and I just can't find it?

Open Quick Time X (Applications folder not Utilities) > File > New Screen Recording.

Not quite as powerful as screenflow, but nice nonetheless.
