I own both a Mac and a PC. What I would like to do is record games I am playing on my PC and transfer/import them into final cut pro, but I can't tell which software is best to use.

At this point I am willing to using a free recording software if it works well with this type of transfer, but if there is none that will do this easily then I am willing to shell out a couple bucks to get something that works.

I have been looking into using Fraps but I don't quite understand the transferring techniques to Mac FCP.

I have also looked into using game cam yet again I don't quite understand how to transfer friendly video files to FCP on my mac. I am new at this so some of the lingo is unfamiliar.

Any tips for the best (and easiest) way to transfer PC screen recording to Mac FCP would be awesome. Whether I have to pay for the software or not.
Thanks
