I had my 17" MBP (June 2007 SR) in for the logic board (nvidia issue) and they replaced the screen too. I got it back and the color is uneven throughout the screen. It has a bright spot right in the middle, and a white line down the top. It also has a dark section and a little bright spot on the right.

Not to mention there are a couple of dead pixels and some junk between the lcd and the cover...

I called them today got escalated to a product specialist who is sending me out a box so they can repair it at their facility (it was originally repair at the apple store). The frustrating thing is I have already waited 7 days for it to get repaired (screen and logic board) and now i'm going to have to wait another 4-7 days. Hopefully since they are repairing it there this is the last i'll have to worry about it ?

I hope the issues come out in the pics but has anyone else experience something like this?

My early 2008 MBP is in for the same thing now (screen + motherboard). I should hopefully get it back by Thursday evening and am keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't happen to me :(.
