Some guy is selling a 500mhz G3 ibook for 200, the only problem is it has a broken screen. How much would it cost to replace, and is this a good price?

Thanks.

This guy needs to get real. That's way too much for a six year old laptop with a broken screen.

You could probably find a replacement screen on ebay for less than $100, but you would have to replace it yourself of course. Getting it professionally repaired would likely be prohibitively expensive.

I bet that you could find a G4 ibook for $300. I wouldn't buy that, especially with the risk of breaking something when fixing the screen. I think that you can do much better with your money! good luck

Thanks for the help guys.
