Screen replacement - quick question

I will have to replace the screen on my macbook due to it having an altercation with a child's toy. Enough time has passed that I won't be able to remember the password to my account (administrators account )

Is there a way of getting access to the account under these circumstances ?

Yes, You should be able to reset the password with your Apple id.
