So I upgraded from an X and immediately noticed on the pro that the screen had a lot of resistance when swiping, does everyone else have this?

ive cleaned the glass multiple times but it’s still a pain to swipe around. Thumb gets tired pretty quick. My X is nice and smooth and simply better to use

I wouldn't think so, but do you use a screen protector? Can you see anything on the screen to suggest the oleophobic coating is not correct? Sorry just trying to get some more info here. If there's an issue with the coating, I'd take it back to Apple and have them check it out. It should be the same feel as your X.

Thanks, I can’t see anything
I don’t use a screen protector.
I thought maybe it was sticky residue left over from the plastic cover you peel off when you open the box.
Doesn’t take long for the skin on my thumb to get sore from just basic scrolling, it’s terrible

Honestly I'd return it then. Somethings not right, it should be the same as your X, the plastic protector form the factory shouldn't leave any residue or affect the coating on the screen.
