I just got my Macbook Pro 15 inch Glossy.
and i was wondering, i left the resolution of the screen at 1440x900 and i havent messed with the quality or resoluton, is it just me or is it blurry when u first get your macbook and leave it as stock settings ?

if yes, any way to make it look sharper/ less blurry ?

thanks in advance.

At it's native resolution of 1440x900, the LCD should be sharp. Only at lower resolutions should it appear blurry.

Is the entire screen blurry? Did you perhaps activate OS X's zoom feature? (look under System Prfrences -> Universal Access)

Blurry resolutions

I have that problem too. I'm using the VGA adapter and when I plug it into my external LCD monitor, it's blurry as hell.

Any idea why? It's a 22" monitor with a native resolution @ 1050

Thanks

While I can't understand the OP's problem, Jouten - your problem is that you're using a VGA connection. VGA is an analog connector, which means that the digital output is being downconverted to an analog signal. That's why it looks blurry - that's the best you're going to get unless you use a digital signal like DVI.
