Screen rez between iphone vs ipt?

Is it true that the lcd screen on iphone is superior than the ipod touch.I heard it from many sites and just wondering what people think who have both.

I did buy a ipod touch and since i never owned a iphone, thought the screen was ok however, did find some dead pixels and returned it.

is there somewhere that shows how better a screen is between the 2 devices if there are any.

If you go to apple.com and look at the tech specs you will see they both say:

Display
3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display
480-by-320-pixel resolution at 163 ppi

so they are the same screen. The only difference is the way the screens are attached to the glass plate i believe and the negative black issues that seems to have affected the iPod touch more.
