Screen rotation with video and photo only

I don't use landscape mode except for when I watch videos or look at photos. Is there a way for a non-jailbrake iPhone to only rotate when watching videos or looking at photos?

I'm 99% sure there isn't. It would be kinda nice though. I don't care for the 6 Plus landscape home screen, and hate it when the music app rotates into that useless cover flow screen.
