Screen saver custom duration for personal images in Mojave or Catalina

How can we change the duration of display for images when using personal pictures as screen saver in either Mojave or Catalina? I plan to use one of our mac minis as a photo frame display connected to a large wall mounted, framed display panel. This has worked in previous versions of MacOS however in Catalina each images is displayed only for 3 seconds each with no option to modify the duration.
