Screen Saver issues

Last night my mac's screensaver came on after 10 minutes of not being used. when i woke up this morning the screen was back to the desktop. What issues could cause this?

I run an imac g5
Mac os 10.3.9
769 ram

Happens to me sometimes too.

I blame trolls.

but seriously, just see if it keeps happening

Any powered USB device can cause that.Or any Firewire device.
