screen saver never works...

why does my screen saver never work :confused:

i need password from wake, but i changed the time to 10 mins and the screen saver never works the screen just turns black and when i press a button to sign in then i see the screen saver for a quick second and then the box to put my password
 
What are your energy saver settings?

eg if your display sleep is less than your screen saver start, you'll never see your screen saver!
