Screen Saver

Hi everyone!
The problem is that my screen saver comes on (when its not suppose to ) when am watching a movie or or slide. I thought it was my setting, but after looking into it and chanaging it, to come on after way later, it still does it. Its start in about 3 min. and and come on and off in intervals ..Any help or suggestion would appricated. Am runnig a 500 MHz PowerPC G4, with OS 10.4.9 and have 1 GB of ram. I also ran tec tool , and disk warrior to see if that would fix the problem but it did not . Carlos

Does the problem still exist if you create a new user account? If it does, open up the /Library/Preferences folder (where / is the root of the hard drive) and find com.apple.energysaver. Get rid of it.

If it goes away, open your user folder, then Library, then Preferences. Find com.apple.energysaver. Get rid of it.

Disclaimer: I'm not at a Mac right now - I think that's the name of the preference file.
