I'm trying to understand color management issues further these days for graphics and got questions for graphics professionals out here.
- What white point setting do you use on your screen? I understand that D50 is for the standard for graphic arts. But one book on Photoshop says anything other than default white balance will make the screen darker so I should stay with default. I'm a little confused here. Which white balance I should stick with?
- I do print and web graphics on the same screen. I'm curious if these print/web designers stick to a single screen setting or change the gamma (to PC-standard gamma) and white point according to the project on the screen?
Appreciate your help in advance
