I just installed a signal amplifier on my incoming COMCAST line (an Electroline EDA-FT08300) and I'm suddenly having problems screen sharing with a Mac at my office. The connection is via VPN (using Tunnelblik) and had been working just fine before I installed the amplifier. I can still "see" the office Mac in Finder after I set up the VPN connection, and I can connect to it just fine (in Finder and via ssh) but screen sharing won't work. I click on the Finder screen share button, a small window flickers into and out of existence, and nothing else happens. Home system is running Mavericks and office system is on Snow Leopard, both are up-to-date. Anyone else had problems like this? I don't appear to have any other problems on the cable connection (TV, Internet, or phone) since the amplifier was installed.
