Screen Sharing iMac that is asleep...

I just hooked up my wife's iMac and love the ability to screen share. It however is not available when the computer is asleep. I currently have the check box under energy setting to wake for network access but that does not seem to do anything. That computer is connected via a Linksys wireless router.

I believe its only ethernet access that will wake a mac from sleep. Someone here may know an app or something that can change that.

I have heard that said as well but then I have read somewhere else that it is possible... not sure how if it is though.

As said before, it will not work via W-LAN. Maybe Bluetooth though, as Macs can get awaken by Bluetooth devices.
