Screen Sharing not working properly

I bought a new MacBook Pro with 10.6.3 and I would like to take control of my iMac (10.5.8) by the Screen Sharing App, but for any reason, the MBP doesn't allow me to enter my username, just a password... which is not working at all (i've tried all passwords I use on my iMac). When I do the opposite (iMac who takes control of MBP), everything works well!!

Any ideas??
