Very consistently, the ability to share my Mac mini's screen from my laptop, both running 10.10, vanishes after less than a day and only returns after I go reboot it. It doesn't seem to matter how often, or even if, I've actually used the feature, I make no other changes besides rebooting, and both computers access the outside internet perfectly well all the time. This is particularly annoying since, though on the same network, the mini is in a different building.

Any idea what's going on here, and how to stop it? The problem did not exist when both computers were running Mavericks, but began when I installed the fourth public beta on the mini. Both are now running the finished version of Yosemite, and the trouble persists.

Edit to add: *eventually,* file sharing quits too and the mini disappears from Finder sidebars.
