Screen Sharing with a twist.

Is it possible to use the screen of my 17" PB with my MacBook components? I don't mean screen sharing, but use a Mini-DVI to DVI adapter directly attached
from Macbook to PowerBook. I would like to know if such a setup could also be used in windows.

As neither of those DVI ports are capable of an input signal, it is not possible.

There aren't any other ways to do this? FireWire Target Disk mode? USB?

Firewire Target Disk Mode is for having one Mac behaving like an external drive for another Mac, nothing more. It's for troubleshooting and accessing data.

USB might be, there could be some device handling such issue.

Try MRoogle for searching the forums more efficiently.

could be done with virtual desktop possibly. if they are on the same network shouldnt get much lag.
