Hi everyone, I have two Macbook pros, at my house I can control my other Macbook's screen without internet connection using remote desktop. But when I am on vacation and I have both laptops with me, for some reason I cannot share screen. Why is this, any help?

That may be because at home you have a network and when you're away from home, you don't.
TeamViewer works without a network, as long as you have internet connection on both computers.
