Hi all

I see that when some of you are talking about your iphones you manage to take a screen shot of the front of the phone to post

How do you do it??

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

Press the home and on/off power button together. Images are saved in your camera roll.

^ That ****** link would have been more effective before a helpful response was posted... ;)

I knew there was a way to do it, I just wasn't sure on how you did it. Thanks a lot.

I'm almost certain the screenshot feature is listed in the iPod touch/iPhone user guide. It's not like it's a secret ability or anything.

Edit: Found in the iPhone user manual:

"Take a screenshot of iPhone’s display: Quickly press and release the Sleep/Wake and
Home buttons at the same time. A flash of the screen lets you know the screenshot
was taken. The screenshot is added to the Camera Roll."
